Our Mission
The New Orleans Master Crafts Guild exists to preserve, transmit, and celebrate the heritage trades of New Orleans — ironwork, woodworking, plastering, and the other skilled crafts that gave birth to the city's irreplaceable built environment.
We do this by connecting master craftsmen with apprentices, providing business development support, and building the cultural and economic conditions that allow these trades to survive and flourish for generations to come.

Hands-on apprenticeship programs pairing aspiring craftsmen with New Orleans master artisans to preserve and transmit heritage trades.

Equipping master craftsmen with the entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy, and marketing knowledge to build sustainable craft businesses.
